Hoof Purifying Clay

DESCRIPTION

In muddy conditions, on waterlogged ground or in a damp stall, the Hoof Purifying Clay is applied directly under the hoof to support frog and sole hygiene while forming a natural protective layer against moisture. Its formula, based on clays and carefully selected ingredients, promotes a drier, cleaner and more balanced environment, helping to maintain hoof comfort on a daily basis.

Used on the sole, frog, heels and periople, it forms a protective film that helps regulate moisture and limit the build-up of debris. With regular use, it supports the maintenance of healthy, resilient horn, especially when hooves are exposed to moisture or repeated environmental stress.

Its fluid texture allows quick, even application over larger areas, making it particularly suitable for regular hoof care in wet weather or on muddy ground.

INGREDIENTS

Illite clay: highly absorbent, helps draw out excess moisture and impurities from the sole and frog, promoting a drier, cleaner environment under the hoof.

Kaolinite clay: particularly gentle, complements the action of illite while respecting sensitive tissues and the horn surface.

Montmorillonite clay: rich in minerals, helps maintain the cohesion of the paste and contributes to the overall effectiveness of this hoof hygiene care.

Zinc oxide (non-nano): a protective ingredient that helps support a clean environment and the horn’s natural resistance to external factors.

Geranium essential oil: helps keep the treated area clean and contributes to the aromatic synergy of the care.

Palmarosa essential oil: supports skin flora balance in prolonged humid conditions.

Fine lavender essential oil: gentle and rebalancing, supports tissue comfort and overall hoof well-being.

Peppermint essential oil: refreshing, reinforces the formula’s aromatic profile and the sensation of cleanliness.

INCI: Illite, Kaolin, Montmorillonite, Aqua, Zinc Oxide (non-nano), Pelargonium Graveolens Oil, Lavandula Angustifolia Oil, Mentha Piperita Oil, Cymbopogon Martini Oil.

DIRECTIONS

Thoroughly clean the hoof, making sure to clear the sole, frog and heels. Shake the bottle before use to homogenize the texture, then apply the liquid clay with a brush to the targeted areas. Pay particular attention to contours and zones that are more exposed to moisture if needed. Leave in place until the next application.

PRECAUTIONS

This product is intended for horses only. External use. Do not ingest.

Do not apply to open wounds, damaged tissue or irritated areas. Avoid contact with eyes, mucous membranes and sensitive zones. In case of accidental contact, rinse thoroughly with clean water for several minutes.

Contains essential oils, which may be sensitizing. It is recommended to perform a patch test on a small area before wider application. Not recommended for pregnant or lactating mares, or for young animals (under 6 months).

Keep out of reach of children and animals.

STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS

Store at room temperature, in a dry place, away from heat and frost. Close tightly after each use. Best used within one year after opening.
