In wet, muddy conditions or when rubbing occurs repeatedly, the skin at the lower legs can become more sensitive. The Damaged Fetlocks Balm is formulated to support fragile areas, help preserve skin balance and maintain the horse’s comfort. Its rich texture melts into an oil on contact with the skin and forms a breathable protective film, ideal for humid environments or challenging conditions.

Rich in shea butter, plant oils and naturally purifying ingredients, this balm helps to nourish, soothe and protect the fetlocks. It supports supple, healthy and comfortable skin, even in the presence of minor crusts, small cracks or superficial sensitivities. Versatile, it can be used both as a preventive measure and as targeted care, depending on the horse’s needs.

DIRECTIONS

Take a small amount of balm and warm it between your hands until it softens and begins to melt. Apply on clean, dry skin, then massage gently until absorbed.

To optimize the routine:

Before application: gently cleanse the area with the Purifying Floral Water to remove dust, impurities and residues.
Once the skin has recovered: move on to the Hair Regrowth Gel to support even and healthy hair regrowth.

During sensitive periods: apply once daily.
For maintenance: apply every two to three days.

PRECAUTIONS

This product is intended for horses only. It is designed for external use and must not be ingested. Use sparingly: a small amount is sufficient for an effective application. Close the container tightly after each use and store in a dry place at room temperature, away from excessive heat.

As the formula contains essential oils, which may be sensitizing, it is recommended to perform a patch test on a small area before wider application. The balm is not recommended for pregnant or lactating mares, or for horses under 6 months of age.

Avoid contact with the eyes and mucous membranes. In case of accidental contact, rinse thoroughly with clean water for several minutes. Keep out of reach of children. This product is not a veterinary medicine and does not replace advice from an equine health professional.
